On Centre 2025 – Final show
Introduction by Angela Bandinelli
It is with great pleasure that we present the On Centre Final Show at the end of a three-month intensive course, which is particularly meaningful as it is the tenth anniversary of this intensive course, which was first held in 2015.
Over the past three months, the students have immersed themselves in the art of ceramics, learning techniques, experimenting with materials and pushing the boundaries of their creativity. We are proud to present the results of their work: a collection of unique and inspiring pieces that reflect passion and artistic development.
On Centre participants come from a wide range of backgrounds and each journey is unique. This course may have been a starting point, a moment of change or a goal achieved. We hope and believe that it will be a real turning point in their journey as ceramic artists, opening new doors and inspiring future creations.
Coming together with a shared passion stimulates exchange, inspiration and collaboration, often leading to meaningful friendships and partnerships that continue long after the course has ended. We trust that these bonds will continue to grow and enrich everyone’s artistic and personal lives.
We would like to thank the teacher, Susanne Lukàcs-Ringel, who led the group with great kindness, expertise and humanity. A heartfelt thank you to our studio assistant, Zsófia Földvári, whose warmth and patience were essential to the results. And, of course, a special mention to Eve Carrobourg, the glaze tutor, who provided important feedback along the way.
Congratulations to all participants!
