Our studios offer workspace for all types of ceramic work. The environment, in the midst of the Tuscan countryside, is conducive to intense study, experimentation and learning. The main studio is set in a former wine storage room, cool in the summer and warm in winter. A second studio is used for small groups. The Nature Studio is shaded by majestic oak trees, full of textural inspiration. Our studios are equipped for throwing and hand building classes, and the glaze facilities include a large spray booth. Our gas, electric and wood kilns enable high and low temperature firings in oxidation or reduction atmosphere, including soda, wood, raku and pit firings.
Materials, basic tools and aprons are provided for all workshops. Our staff is fluent in English and happy to help.
