We have a very exciting news to share with you.
Thanks to the tireless work of the builders, Roman, and of course Pietro — together with the support of our “Community Builders” — our barn is finally ready to welcome our guests.
We still can`t believe that it has really happened: on a beautiful Sunday at the end of April the newly restored barn hosted its very first group of students. We celebrated the big event with a glass of prosecco wishing you could all have been here to share this special moment with us.
Those of you who has visited the school during the last year, know how much we waited for this moment! Ever since the school`s founder Pietro bought the property more than forty years ago, he dreamed of converting it into a living space for the students, so that they can step out of a comfortable room and enter the studio.
With the apartments now finished, we turn our attention to the remaining spaces of the barn. Work continues in the kitchen, the clay and material storage area, the studios, and – most importantly – on the patio and garden, which we hope to enjoy fully during the coming summer months!
