This includes both our ‘classic’ courses, which have become fixed appointments in our calendar, and some new workshop.
Please keep an eye on our website over the coming weeks to discover the full programme for 2027, which by March 2026, will be released entirely.

For On Centre and On Centre Fall, applications open on January 28 and will close once the courses are full.
The classics
Our throwing course programme is very extensive, ranging from one-week courses, such as our throwing marathons, to longer intensive courses lasting one, two or three months: On the Wheel! On Centre Fall and On Centre Spring.
This offering meets a variety of training needs, catering to both beginners and experienced students, and provides a structured intensive programme designed to achieve significant progress on the potter’s wheel.
New entries and returning instructors
New instructors covering different techniques have been added to our calendar: Shika Joshi teaches unconventional techniques to hand-build rustic vessels, which allows you to achieve the effects of wood firing even in oxidation. Ben Eberle will share advanced throwing and alteration techniques to enrich shapes and add unique textures. Judith Varga teaches the use of natural shapes for expressing emotions, forming a story or creating visual poetry with clay.
Our sculpture courses are also confirmed, including the return of Andreas Hinder with the workshop “The ceramic animal”. Rachel Wood and Craig Underhill’s ever-popular courses will also return in 2027. Some of our long-standing collaborators such as Margaret Bohls and Steve Kelly will contribute with new courses and themes revealing novel sides of their creative repertoire.
